Product Information
Product Information
Many audiovisual and computer based devices can be controlled remotely by using RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 commands. The AXC-232 Card can generate a virtually unlimited number of product/function commands as they are programmed into the AXC-M Master Card. As needs and technology changes, existing cards can be reprogrammed or new cards added, one for each device.

Preparing captive wires 1. Insert each wire into the appropriate opening on the connector according to the wiring diagrams and connector types described in this section. Do not tighten the screws excessively; doing so may strip the threads and damage the connector.
If the device is using a separate power supply, do not connect the power wiring from the AXC-232 to that device.

FIG. [. . . ] Used in 485 mode, this command inserts a delay between transmit enable and the first character being transmitted in each packet. Syntax:
TXCLR TXEND
'TXEND-<time>'
Variable: time = 0 - 255 in 100 microsecond increments. Example:
'TXEND-20'
Sets 2mS delay between transmit enable and the first character to be transmitted. Enables software handshaking.
