Thetouchscreenbuttonsenableyoutocontrolyourdevicesasyou wouldwithyourremotecontrol, setupmacros, andconfigureyour LCDpanelthewayyouwant. NOTE Ifyoudon'thearabeepwhenyoupressthescreen, youmayhave deactivatedthebeep. Thefollowingillustrationshowsallthefunctionsandtheirrelatedicons availableontheM1+foryourreference.
ThischapterwilltellyouhowtosetuptheM1+, howto automaticallyconfiguredevices, andhowtousetheadvancedfeatures suchasthemacros.
Beforeyouusethelearningfunction
Beforeyoustartconfiguringyourremotecontrolsusingthelearning function, pleaseheedthefollowingprecautions: $ Don'tconfiguremorethanoneremotecontrolforeachdeviceon theM1+. Forexample, don'tuseoneTVremotecontrolfor somefunctionsundertheM1+'sTVdevicescreen, andthenuse adifferentTVremotecontrolforotherfunctions. Configurethe M1+'sdevicebuttonusingonly one remotecontrolforallthe buttons. Ifyouaregoingtoc onfigureadifferentremotecontrolforan M1+devicebuttonafteryouhavepreviouslyconfiguredthe devicebuttonforadifferentremotecontrol, firstdeleteallthe commandsforthedevicebutton. Otherwise, theM1+willexitlearningmode andreturntonormaloperationmode.
