[. . . ] · Rotoworx® 330 HS high-speed version - up to 160 fpm (50 m/min). The Rotoworx® 330 has been specifically designed with efficient and cost effective short run operation in mind. (3. 5 m) in combination with a homing cycle and on/off impression die station results in minimal waste during job changeovers and roll splices. [. . . ] The Rotoworx® 330 is equipped with deployable, industrial casters for easy relocation to suit operational requirements. Both, standard and high speed version can be configured with a choice of optional modules to suit customer specific requirements and applications, such as modules for UV flood coating, UV digital varnish and monochrome variable data printing. Key Features Semi-rotary Die Station The semi-rotary die-station is complete with sensing technology to electronically re-register to incoming pre-printed material. It uses a magnetic cylinder and soft tooling to facilitate fast changeovers and reduced tooling costs. The die tool anvil system is equipped with an off impression mode to reduce waste during changeovers and make ready. ISO-Tensioning System (Patented) The system features a field-proven web transport based on Durst's patented ISO Tensioning technology with high registration accuracy of +/- 0. 007 in. Tensioning for each module is isolated and controlled independently allowing the use of different tensions for different processes. This is particularly useful when running sensitive films, difficult matrixes or when through cutting. Graphic User Interface and Remote Diagnostics A self explanatory password protected graphic interface with representation of the machine facilitates the input of all necessary run parameters and settings. The operating manual, troubleshooting guide and diagnostics are all accessible via this touch screen. The VDP Engine is controlled by a sophisticated front-end which provides full design flexibility and database control. Digital Spot Varnishing High precision This inkjet application process is highly accurate, applying the coating with a precision of 10 micron. Embossing/tactile effect More varnish fluid can be applied (thicker layer) than with conventional processes. This is very desirable in many applications for enhanced image effects. Multiple effects It is possible to create different effects (matte, gloss etc. ) in one process step using only one varnish fluid. As opposed to analog methods, digital varnishing offers the printer the opportunity to present several samples each with different designs (different patterns, different gloss levels etc. ) very easily and cost effectively. Short runs Short runs can be produced with a variety of digital technologies but none of these offer a varnishing solution. With DIVATM it is now possible for the printers to offer spot varnishing on short runs. Reduced setup time There is no special set-up time for change from one job which requires a gloss finish to another which requires matte finish, allowing the printers to offer spot varnishing on short runs. R330 base model with Semi-rotrary Die Station R330 Control Panel Technical Data General specifications Speed: Rotoworx® 330 operates at up to 100 fpm (30 m/min. ) Rotoworx® 330 HS version operates at up to 160 fpm (50 m/min. ) Unwind capacity: 30 in.
