Figure 44 ­ Free Map Browsing Mode 3. 8 Select Map Screen 3. 8. 1 Select Map Menu Button From the Settings 2 of 3 menu, tap the Select Map button to display the Select Map screen. Figure 45 ­ Select Map Button 3. 8. 2 Select Map Screen The Select Map screen displays maps that have been installed to your device. The current map is always as the first map. Figure 46 ­ Select Map Screen 27 The GPS provides the following options: Refresh ­ If you have installed a map while running the software, it will not appear unless you tap Refresh. A warning message appears, prompting you to verify that you want to remove the selected map. OK ­ To designate another map as the current map, select the map and tap OK. 28 4 Routes 4. 1 Manage Route Button From the Settings 1 of 3 menu, tap the Manage Route button to display the Route menu. Figure 47 ­ Manage Route Button 4. 2 Route Menu The Route menu provides additional features that supplements the GPS's navigation functions. Figure 48 ­Route Menu 29 4. 3 Driving Directions 4. 3. 1 Driving Directions Button From the Route menu, tap the Driving Directions button to display the Driving Directions screen. Figure 49 ­Driving Directions Button 4. 3. 2 Next Turn Bar on Main Map From the Map screen, you can tap the Next Turn bar to display the Driving Directions screen. Figure 50 ­Driving Directions Button 4. 3. 3 Driving Directions Screen The Driving Directions screen, displays a list of directions, starting from your current location to the selected destination, indicated by a checkered flag. Figure 51 ­Driving Directions Button You can use the Browse buttons to move the list up or down. Each direction has a turn icon, street name, and the travel distance. 4. 3. 3. 1 Route From the Driving Directions screen, you can tap the Route button to display the entire route on the map. 30 Figure 52 ­Route Overview The Display Route map also shows the destination address, the route distance, and the estimated time duration from the current location to the selected destination. 4. 3. 3. 2 Turn From the Driving Directions screen, you can tap the Turn button to display a map of the selected turn. Tap the Prior button to view the previous turn or the Next button to view the following turn. The GPS automatically recalculates the route without the turn. Tap the Next button to display the second Road Type screen. 4. 6. 3 Route Modes Screen The second Road Type screen, lets you select from the following route types: Vehicle-Quickest ­ Instructs the GPS to generate the quickest route when generating a route to a selected location. Vehicle-Shortest ­ Instructs the GPS to generate the shortest route, which may not be the quickest. Pedestrian ­ Instructs the GPS to generate a route suitable for a pedestrian. The following rules apply to Pedestrian routes: Generates a route up to ten kilometers (approximately 6 miles), which is not limited by vehicle constraints, such as one way streets. To check the system information, tap "Sys Info". SP by Design Inc warrants to the Client that the Products shall substantially conform to SP by Design Inc's specification for a period of 90 days from the date of the original purchase by the end user (the "Warranty Period"). As SP by Design Inc's sole obligation and Client's exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty, SP by Design Inc agrees, at its sole option, to (i) use reasonable efforts to repair the Product with new or refurbished replacement parts; (ii) replace the Product with a new or refurbished unit; or (iii) refund the purchase price, provided Client returns the defective Products to SP by Design Inc with proof of purchase and SP by Design Inc's authorization.
