Messages on the TV screen When a DVD VIDEO is selected as the source, the messages shown below are displayed on the TV screen to indicate the disc status. NOW READING: Appears when the main unit is reading the disc information. REGION CODE ERROR!: Appears when the region code of the disc does not match the code the main unit supports. (Refer to page 51. ) NO DISC: Appears when no disc is loaded.

Indicators in the display window related to the speaker sound
The indicators light up in the display window to show the input signals and the speakers in use. The " ", " ", " " or " " indicator in the frame ( ) shows the speaker producing the sound. The input signal is for the right speaker on the center surround speaker. The input signal is for the right speaker on the center surround speaker. The surround mode is activated.
Follow any of the operations below.
Press 7 once. *1 *2 Press [F AUDIO] to turn off the main unit. Select a source other than the disc/file. *2 *1 "RESUME" is displayed in the display window. If 7 is pressed twice, the position where playback has been stopped is cleared. *2 After this operation, the position where playback has been stopped is stored even when the main unit is turned off by pressing [F AUDIO].
