Follow steps 1~7 in the above section, Installing the DIMM Module In The Memory Socket. Hold the extended memory module at a 30-degree angle and slide it into the empty momery socket. Notch DIMM Module Memory Socket 3. Align the small notch in the module with the socket on the connector and gently push it in and down until it clicks in place. Pivot the DIMM until the latches on both sides of the socket snap into place. Power on the notebook and when it starts up note if the memory count has decreased to the original memory capacity.
