Changing the Magnification Using the Remote Control Unit You can not only change the zoom magnification with the zoom button, but also shoot images with the shutter button using the remote control unit E (optional).

Each time you press the zoom button, the zoom position will change among tele, middle, and wide.

The zoom position will not change in Super Macro mode, even if you press the zoom button. · Ensure that the remote control unit is no more than about four meters away from the front of the camera. · You cannot change the digital zoom range with the remote control unit; you can change only the optical zoom range.
Life of the Battery for the Remote Control Unit A signal can be sent from the remote control unit to the camera approximately 30, 000 times. Contact your nearest PENTAX customer service center if the battery needs changing. (A charge is made for changing the battery. )

Shooting stops when you take your finger off the shutter release button. · You can continue shooting until the SD Memory Card or the builtin memory is full. · The interval will vary according to the [Recorded Pixels] and [Quality Level] settings.
