It should not be operated for more than 5 minutes at a time, after which it must be switched off for about 10 minutes to cool down. Thermal safety cut-out The integral thermal safety cut-out protects the appliance from overheating, for instance when extended use causes an overload. The appliance will automatically resume operation when allowed to cool down sufficiently. Do not put any other ingredients (oil, fat, salt, sugar etc) into the heating insert. - Tilt the measuring cup so that the kernels slide down into the heating insert. - Place a container big enough for the corresponding quantity of popcorn expected underneath the chute. - After processing, switch the appliance off, take the plug out of the wall socket and remove any remaining kernels.
